Hello! I’m Claudia Malave, a Venezuelan entrepreneur with a passion for crafting high-quality, handmade cosmetic products. My journey into the world of cosmetics began with my mother, Leda Orejarena, a dedicated pharmacist and educator. With over 20 years at the Central University of Venezuela and a remarkable tenure as the founder and coordinator of Fórmulas Magistrales, she has always been my inspiration. Her expertise in formulating cosmetics laid the foundation for my own path.

After spending two years volunteering in her laboratory, I faced a pivotal moment in 2013 when I emigrated to the USA due to the challenging political climate in Venezuela. Two years later, my mother joined me, and together we decided to harness her extensive experience to create our own line of cosmetic products. What started as a small venture selling to family and friends quickly grew into something more.

With a desire to share our creations with a wider audience, I launched our website and established a vibrant presence on social media through my Instagram page @recetura and my YouTube channel, Recetura by Claudia. Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship, I immersed myself in learning through an online course in natural product formulation, which ignited further growth in our project.
